Hey hacker! WestCoast Hacks is a summer hackathon where you will code fun & crazy projects individually or with a team of 2-4 people. Think of it as a 8-hour coding marathon (with time for food and breaks!) Compete until the end to win cool prizes! We encourage and welcome any middle and high student to participate, regardless of programming experience.

What is a hackathon?

A hackathon is a coding event where students come together to turn their ideas into reality.

Are there any prerequisites or required skills?

Not at all! This hackathon is designed for people of all levels. You could attend a workshop and learn something new!

How much will it cost?

Nothing! Thanks to our sponsors, it is 100% free.

What do I need to bring?

A laptop and a charger.

Do you provide food?

We will be providing lunch and snacks for free!

What's the schedule?

It will be emailed to you and posted here when the event is closer.

Who can attend?

We welcome any middle and high school student!
